This year's Jazz Fest kicks off this Thursday, August 6th at the Lexington Central Public Library Downtown and features Lexington's own... The Positive Movement Jazz Band. This is a free event, but seating is limited so make your plans to be at the library by 6:30 PM to get your seat.

The African American Forum, Inc. (AAF) is proud to present the 6th Annual Lexus Smooth Jazz Fest featuring Alex Bugnon and Special Guests Cindy Bradley and Nelson Rangell. The event will take place on Saturday, August 10; Gates open at 5:30 pm; and the concert begins at 7:30 pm. The African American Forum is pleased that Transylvania University will once again play host to this regional event held annually that celebrates contemporary American Jazz, complemented by fine cuisine and Kentucky culture. more
