On Saturday, January 24, 2015, the African American Forum will host an evening of dancing, networking and celebration of all that is excellent from the African American Experience in Art, Culture and Entertainment at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lexington, Kentucky.
We Are One... Mind, Body & Spirit! is the theme that will permeate the atmosphere all evening long. This year's event will feature the lovely and talented Shirley Strawberry, Co-Host of the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Net proceeds benefit the Arts Partnership Program and the African American Forum Endowment Fund. Itís not just a gala, itís a gala with a purpose!

The African American Forum, Inc. (AAF) is proud to present the 6th Annual Lexus Smooth Jazz Fest featuring Alex Bugnon and Special Guests Cindy Bradley and Nelson Rangell. The event will take place on Saturday, August 10; Gates open at 5:30 pm; and the concert begins at 7:30 pm. The African American Forum is pleased that Transylvania University will once again play host to this regional event held annually that celebrates contemporary American Jazz, complemented by fine cuisine and Kentucky culture. more
